ok, so im a sophomore. i am just finishing up my ap tests (euro, french lang, bio). i know i want to take bio in june for the sat (i realize i have to pay a late registration fee), but im not taking french til next yr since ill be taking ap french lit next year also. i am in trig, though, (also known as precalc)--should i take math 2 now? i would only have a month to study, which might be pretty rough. im very good at math, but i havent learned too much this year. would it be better to study over the summer and take it in october?

also, i took the SAT as a freshman and got a 700 on the math section...i also got a 70 on the math section on the psat this year...would it be possible for me to study for math2 in one month and pull off an 800?

SAT I math has nothing to do with SAT II math. it's technically "much harder" but easy all the same. unless you're a math genius who just loooves trig to death, then i think you can pull it off. (i mean, it's all about the calculator & what programs you have in there & how fast you can punch in numbers. i used calculator for 75% of the test & 25% logic and it was pretty easy). if you don't like trig so much, don't take it; one month isn't enough to pull it off.

if you ca'nt pull IIC off, then i dooubt you can do anything else :)

do the prep books teach you how to use your calculator for certain problems?

bumppppppp
