the question is basically...the title

so..no comments means "none"?

all great colleges care about EC's because they have far too many academically qualified applicants

ok......>_<

but.......like....hm....

for real???

someone just said Oxford and Cambridge...pretty famous schools...in England,hm...YEAH! I know! how about some colleges in U.S.A.!?

cal poly doesn't care

The competitive-but-not-super-competitive state schools, like U of Washington, U of Illinois, U of Georgia. Also maybe McGill and UToronto. Definitely European schools.

Yeah, if you're a ridiculous genius/scholar with no EC's you can always try for Oxford

Hey, Oxford is a very respectable school. Cambridge also.

Though being Scottish myself, I'm biased towards St. Andrews.

Though you'd have to have some pretty impressive American credentials to get in at those. Rather exclusive, even for those people unforunate enough to work themselves to death just to get out of the British school system...
