How does one decide which top tier schools to apply to? Obviously they all have wonderful programs, etc. My biggest fear is that I pick the wrong ones, and not apply to the one that would have accepted me.

<p>I suppose I am not generally asking for myself. It was mostly meant to be a collective sigh of a sucky problem for some of us.</p>
<p>well.... apply to colleges that you are interested in. don't make people on a random college forum pick your future for you.</p>
<p>Brown, Yale, Tufts, Wash U...also good.</p>
