Which type of Engineering?

After the realization that without going the pre-med, pharma, or phd routes (none of which interest me) most science majors have very poor job opportunities, I've decided to go into engineering instead. However, I've been looking at the different types and am having a tough time choosing. I know I don't want to go civil, but that's all. I love Chemistry, so initially I was thinking ChemE, but now I'm not even sure that there's all that much chemistry in it. Other branches that interest me are mechanical, electrical, and nuclear. Could anyone offer soem insight on any of these types of engineering, or how much chemistry there really is in ChemE?

There’s a lot of chemistry in ChemE. Hence, the “chemical”. My core ChemE classes are all chemistry at the industrial level. Here, I’ll name a few required for graduation at my school: Orgo, Thermo, Design Synthesis and Optimization of Processes, Mass Momentum and Energy Transport, Separations in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, and Chemical Reaction Engineering, to name a few.

If you like chemistry and physics you can also look into materials engineering.
