Which types of grad schools with GPA 3.0?

Hello

I'm going to be graduating from Worcester Polytechnic Institutate with a bachelors in Electrical Computer Engineering this year with a GPA of 3.08. But for simplicity I rounded to 3.0.

I was wondering, with a GPA from a school like this, whreat kind of grad school do you think I'd be able to get into. I would probably be going for either a M.S. or M.Eng degree in Electrical and/or Computer enigneering.

Additional work include:
-3 projects (one involves designing a product, other includes WPI's Interdisciplinary Qualifying Project and Major Qualifying Project). My major qualifying project was with a company that is well known for its processors and graphics chips. So it sort of is like an intership and 2 projects.
-I have one internship with National Grid, the utility company around Massachusetts.

Are you sure that you want to go to graduate school right away? It might be better to work far a couple of years and then go for the M.Eng. The work experience is a desirable thing for graduate school in engineering and it makes the GPA a less important factor.

It is really hard to give you a specific answer about which graduate programs you have a good chance to get into, however, an M.Eng. or professional M.S. will be your best bet as the entrance requirements are generally lower than with a research-oriented degree.

Good Luck!
