I am going to be a high school senior this year and I would like to get into a UC.
I did really bad junior year because of a disease I acquired that year. I got nearly straight C's junior year with like a few A's in unimportant classes and one B and one D. Yes I got a D. I took all honors and AP's that year and when I got the disease it was to late to drop those classes. So I had the worst junior year ever. Sophomore year I got mostly A's with A few B's and I had mostly honors classes. My GPA is now a 3.2 unweighted and a 4.02 weighted. I have hundreds of volunteer hours and played a sport in high school. I have many extracurriculars that I did in middle school like swimming (championship team) and taekwondo and I was o the schools math team. I have two honorable mentions for science projects I did in high school as a sophomore and junior. I have a 1970 SAT and was a National Merit Scholar member for exceptional PSAT scores.

Thats all i can think of right now.

Do I have a chance anymore since I got terrible junior year grades and a D. It was all due to my disease but I do not know if the colleges will accept that as a reason.
