Is there a general consensus? I hear UCLA is pretty good. Please rank in order from tastiest to blandest

If you’re talking about on-campus dining, UCLA hands down. I haven’t been to all the UC’s, but out of the top 5, I’d say UCLA.

Yeah on campus dining halls, I heard UCLA is pretty good, would like to know how the others stack up

Berkeley’s on campus food is ok. Off campus food is better.

Wow you are one lucky fella/gal. How do you end up paying nothing?
Edit:you just.deleted

I will be 24 years old this year, so I am an independent student, put zero on my income. What do you see on your URSA financial aid?

I got 10grand out of 30

fishtankcleaner- what are your stats?

I hear the food outside and around UC Berkeley is quite delish. From what I hear, I’d say UC Berkeley has the best because they seem to have such a great and sort of weird variety (at least off-campus).

holy **** pinoiako916. enough thread derails. there is such a thing as private messages.

ucla’s dorms have a lot of options, and you have the choice to shop around in each dining hall… take what you will from it, but apparently it’s the only UC on princeton review’s ranking for ‘best food’. haha.

however, berkeley has awesome cheap food around campus and westwood is overrun with overpriced chain restaurants. even farther around westwood, there isn’t a lot to go for but sawtelle is excellent for japanese food.

What UC has the best food for vegetarian. I don’t eat meat at my house, but I wouldn’t mind eating it at UC, since it’s expensive to find other means of protein.

I hear there’s a vegetarian fast food place outside Berkeley? possibly…

Plus, I hear there’s LOTS of Indian restaurants around Berkeley and Hindu’s are also vegetarian so you’re in luck!

I really hope someone bases where they go off of this topic. Ha :p

I’m vegetarian and UCLA offers a vegetarian alternative to all their plates with meat. Also, some of the halls are more vegetarian/vegan/green friendly.

Ucsb has good vegetarian options too lots of the restaurants off campus have organic and locally grown products

Also, UCLAs food is also really tasty. I had the pleasure of eating it for a week last summer. I can def say I wouldn’t mind if I had to eat that everyday.

UCLA has an In-N-Out just off campus. Since its on campus food is apparently the best, it would seem be to the clear winner.

Santa Barbara is a (healthy) foodies Mecca. They have a farmers market 7 days a week there and is known for using local ingredients. I have never eaten at the campus though.

The dinner at UCLA is kinda overrated (at least the dining hall I went to, which I heard is one of the best). It was basically the same stuff you’d see in any other college dining hall, although the salad bar was pretty nice. However, breakfast at UCLA is amazing.
