Berkeley, LA, Davis will all be tough

seriously, that is so mean of you. be respectful and respect others…

Merced and Santa Cruz… maybe they have 3.6 and 3.8 weighted GPA’s respectively. I agree with @WhartonnotHYPS. Your GPA is too low for most UC’s. Are you instate or out of state? If so, the minimum in state weighted GPA is 3.2 while OOS is 3.4

no, I am in state… and thanks for you are motivations guys…

@emily1212 our intention was not to be mean to you; rather, it was to give you an opportunity to see your weaknesses. Top 2 metrics for UC’s are GPA and SAT. Considering you have a GPA on the lower end, and no testing, I have to tell you that the upper UC’s will be tough. @doc325

@emily1212: No one is trying to be mean, we are stating what is realistic based on your GPA plus you have no test scores. The reality is that the UC’s are competitive and as stated by WhartonnotHYPS, GPA and Test Scores are heavily factored into your acceptance or rejection. As I stated on your other thread, there are many privates and Cal States that would be a more realistic fit with your STATS and all would give you an excellent education. If you are determined to attend a UC, then go the CC route and TAG into your UC of choice (except UCB/UCLA/UCSD). You also need to calculate your UC GPA, see link: <a href=“GPA Calculator for the University of California – RogerHub”>http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

Hi. Unfortunately, your GPA is definitely on the low side for the top UC schools. Also, it makes it tough to chance you because you haven’t taken a standardized test yet. You would get more accurate predictions if you had that information to provide. Lastly, if you’ve ever spent any time on this site, you’ll know that the comments those two individuals gave you was nothing but professional and honest. Come time for college acceptance/rejection letters, your definitely going to have to be able to take some criticism. Best of luck to you

What was your PSAT?

Isn’t there a requirement that you must have 3.0 GPA to attend a UC?

yeah. DRGoogle. that is what I heard.

my academic GPA is 3.41. I never took 9th grade.(I was in other country during 9th grade) I started out with 10th grade so my academic GPA from 10-12 is 3.41 but my total GPA from 9-12th grade is 3.25.
thanks for comments

ummmm with no other ECs or Volunteering… you definietly aren’t a match for UCLA or the top UC schools at all! Your GPA is way to low. You really need to join more ECs, volunteer, get some As, more high level classes, and do well on your SAT and ACT

yeah, I do have volunteer hours I did 144 hours during my 11th grade.
thanks
