Currently taking 3 AP classes and 1 Honors class (taking 5 next year)
My PSAT score was 1580
I currently have 45 community service hours but am working to earn more
I'm in 4 clubs, 2 of which I have a leadership position
I work at a restaurant on weekends
I run Track
I'm taking the SAT for the first time in the spring</p>

<p>Its tough to say without real test scores but, with a 3.4, you are going to need to light up the SAT/ACT to make it into any UC but Merced. Your PSAT doesn’t suggest that’s likely.</p>
<p>Honestly, I’d suggest you do your best on the SAT, really prep, and back off on your senior schedule a bit, I don’t think it will make much difference. Apply to a variety of schools, including a handful of UCs and some CSUs (not just SDSU and Cal Poly SLO). Research Sonoma, Chico, Long Beach and Fullerton - all good schools you should make it into.</p>
