Which universities disregard 9th grade?

I totally ruined my 9th grade GPA, and I am pretty sure I won't be admitted in anywhere that will consider 9th grade GPA, so I need to know places that disregard them.

Does MIT/California Institute of Technology consider 9th grade GPA?

And, if you know of any other univ.s that ignore 9th grade GPA, can you leave a reply?

Thank you.

Suggest you check the website of the schools you mentioned to find out.

Also, Stanford doesn't consider them.

The UCs and Princeton don't consider freshman.

The University of Michigan, too. And, UChicago (I think).

Well S&P say they don't but they consider Frosh grades but they do consider Class Rank in admissions, so in effect Frosh grades do count.

The UCs do not consider class rank, but they do see the grades -- upward trend is always better than the reverse.

Most colleges don't make too big a deal about freshman year, because that is usually everybody's worst year. They would rather your grades up each year.

Good! I was wondering the same thing.
I mean I only got a B in one class in the 9th grade but it does hurt my GPA! I just didn't take school as seriously back then. Never even thought about GPA/College admissions..etc. haha
