Which universities give the most Financial Aid?

I am a business major and I'm wondering which universities:
1) Accepts transfers (with a realistic chance of getting in; at least 10% acceptance rate)
2) Offers lots of scholarships/financial aid

I'm currently looking at Marshall (USC), Haas (Berkeley), and UCLA (as poli sci major).

I have a 4.0 and my household income is roughly $50-55,000...

I heard Cornell offers alot of FA and scholarships, but is it harder to get into than Haas?

the UCs do not have great financial aid, even for instate. UCLA does not offer an undergraduate degree in biz. For need-based aid, Harvard, Yale and Princeton are clearly the best by far. The next few would be those colleges that are no loan such as Dartmouth and Vanderbilt. Of course, those Ivies accept few, if any, transfers. Vandy is transfer-friendly, as is Cornell.

I agree that the UCs give little and you want to look at the generous meet need schools. USC meets needs, but it’s not among the super generous and lots of loans could be part of the deal.

It depends on where you’re transferring from. If you are at a strong college and have good SAT scores, go for the top colleges. Almost all of them have good need based aid. Merit aid is harder to find as a transfer, but again, if you’re at a good college with strong scores you’re a very desirable transfer and it’s possible you’d get some.

Harvard and Princeton don’t accept transfers.
