<p>Silly question. Depends on the major/professor and, most importantly, the student. There will be zero consensus on this.</p>

<p>its semi true however you can obviously say which schools have harder course work. assignments from the university of Pennsylvania will be harder than a tier 3 school as well as grade deflation so i was looking for an answer. also people have noted that cornell is the easiest ivy to get into but the hardest to graduate from. it does matter the major but there is a relative difficulty level for every school</p>

<p>By reputation, Harvey Mudd would be the toughest, followed by MIT and CalTech. That said, it’s a pretty subjective question and none of us have experience with a very large sample of schools.</p>
