Which Universty is better ?

Can you guys tell me which of these 2 universities is better?

Indiana Purdue University

which is the best, the hardest, the easiest, has good education history?
and
I also need information about the cities that these universities are in? which city is good for tourists? Has good, helpful people?

I just need a general information please,
Thanks in advance

Do you mean Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana or Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis (IUPUI)?

I think he is just asking Indiana (Bloomington) vs Purdue.

Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis (IUPUI) Vs Indiana University Bloomington

Indiana University- Blooming, though Purdue University- West Lafayette.

go for iu bloomington. Purdue - West Lafayette together with IU-B are the flagship state Universities

You guys i need information about the two cities in general?

Indianapolis is an urban environment, albeit a fairly small city. Bloomington is more rural and more college town. I might suggest you wikipedia both cities and then come back.

IU-Bloomington is the state flagship. Purdue is another well respected state school. Neither are located in the biggest city in Indiana, though. So IUPUI is sort of an outpost to enable students, including non traditional ones, to get an IU or PU degree.

I sense you are international. What about Indiana attracts you?

If I were international and was attracted to Indiana, I would look at IU-Bloomington or Purdue. I’m not sure why IUPUI would be in the list; it’s a relative unknown.

oh definitely go with IU - Bloomington

I visited Indianapolis in the summer, absolutely nothing to do except shopping in the malls, the only attraction is the Indiana State Museum and some sailors/soldiers memorial. At least with Bloomington, there will be 20,000+ students to have fun with.

Definitely Bloomington. It is an actual flagship college and is much better than IUPUI. IUPUI isn’t really a big school or a well known school and I have heard it is a big commuter school.

Bloomington is kind of in the middle of nowhere but it is a lot better school.

If you are still searching for new schools - I would consider the University of Minnesota TC. It is very similar to IU Bloomington but in a major city with a cool location and campus and lots to do.

MostWanted, if you are considering studying engineering or sciences, I would go to Purdue University - West Lafayette. If you are considering studying business or liberal arts, I would go to Indiana University-Bloomington

Information on the cities:

I find Indianapolis to be one of the largest cities with nothing to do. Bloomington at least would have a campus full of college students.

I guess I could describe Indianapolis as one large hub, while Bloomington is more.

IUB is more libal and has many snobby rich kids that party hard while IUPUI is more for people who work 40 hours a week and go to school or just want to stay away from the whole party scence ,and study along side more mature people( lots of 30+ aged students). IUPUI is also the place for health professions,so most top ranked students at IUPUI are pre-med,nuring biology ect. It all depend on what you want out of the school.
