I'm planning to apply to some vet schools this fall and wanted some input on each of the colleges. I am already-sort of- in University of Missouri's vet school, but I wanted to apply to other schools that are closer home. Some options I'm considering are: Ohio State, Virginia tech/Maryland, and Cornell. Ohio State is really expensive, though, especially for out-of-state resident. And, I really haven't heard much about Virginia tech/Maryland vet school before, so I was wondering if anyone knows anything about it. I hear Cornell is a good school but I'm not sure how living in N.Y would fit me. So, if anyone has attended either of these vet schools or just know something about them (positive or negative), I'd appreciate your feedback!

Most vet schools reserve the majority of their spaces for in state students. If your state does not have a vet school typically the state contracts with another state for spaces. The third group are for students who are neither in state or from a state that is contracted and these spots may be very limited. What state are you from?
