Which Way to Get Unweighted GPA?

So I've been looking around the internet to see how I can find out my unweighted GPA. I've came across two ways of calculating it. Either:

A+ 4.3
A 4.0
A- 3.7
B+ 3.3
B 3.0
B- 2.7
C+ 2.3
C 2.0
C- 1.7
D+ 1.3
D 1
D- 0.7
F 0.3

OR

A = 4.0
B = 3.0
C = 2.0
D = 1.0

Which is it? I've had numerous classes which will screw me over if it's the second system where I would get grades like 89 or 88 in 3 or 4 honors classes. Because my GPA looks pretty bad if a 88 = 80...

I think most colleges use the top system, but don’t give a 4.3 for an A+, just a 4.0.

Oh okay thanks. Oh and sorry about that I copy pasted the system from a different post on these forums but the point stands.

Thanks!
