Which women’s college best for STEM?

Good plan not to roll the dice at Harvard. The daughter of a close friend applied there ED as a legacy 2 years ago with a perfect 36 ACT and straight A’s. Didn’t get in. Yikes!

You meant EA, right? Harvard doesn’t have ED.

Yes.

fyi our friends son transferred out of Hawaii - Honolulu campus - absolutely hated it - particularly lack of a/c in the dorms - or at least his dorm.

He would be considering the Manoa campus, but since we can’t visit before applying and it is so very far away, think it is falling off the list anyway…

Wow what a change in colleges and the kid as well, I guess. Good Luck, and keep us posted as others have said.

Thanks and you are right. They re basically rolling so he would be applying around same time as other early apps but not technically EA. Thanks. He loved the school and though in theory it is a safety given he is oos it may not be…

Sorry to correct you again, but UW Seattle is also not rolling admissions. Apply by November 15, notified in early March.

You are of course correct. Washington U is a regular admission with a very early deadline. In any case we are applying by the deadline and will see what we will see…

Here is where the list landed:

Early apps - ED Northwestern, EA CU Boulder and UMD College Park, regular with early or priority deadlines UWashington Seattle and UToronto.

Regular admissions with regular deadlines: Amherst, Boston University, Brown, Harvard, UPenn, Wesleyan, Vassar, Tufts
