Which would be more valuable in terms of being recruitment? Stern vs. Cornell

I am deciding whether between Cornell and NYU Stern, however for Cornell I was admitted into the engineering college. If I do go to cornell, I do intend to stay within the engineering college, however with the desire to be recruited into business. I was thinking of doing Operation research which from what I have heard is a mix of general engineering with business and finance. I was wondering what would be more valuable and more attractive to recruiters. A stern degree, or cornell degree which is not focused necessarily on business.

Cornell degree definitely. For one thing Cornell is an ivy league which carries an even bigger name than NYU does. Competition to get into Cornell is ridiculous and it is very selective. Also when hiring there is preference for people who didn’t solely gain a degree in business/finance but also demonstrated other interests such as you described the engineering. Cornell is definitely the better choice!!!
