<p>Hi everyone! I just got accepted into NYU/Tisch, where my major is dramatic writing. I'm also interested in biology and most social sciences. I was wondering which of these would be the most practical thing to double major in:</p>

Nutrition
Political Science
American Studies
Anthropology
Comparative Literature
International Relations
Sociology
Communications</p>
<p>I would prefer not to go for a master's degree in any of these subjects; my primary career goal is playwright, so this would only be for like a backup plan.</p>
<p>i think comp. lit would greatly complement dramatic writing because you will have great opportunities/ even requirements to read some of the best books ever created, in their original writings, which if you want to get into dramatic writing in the future, comp. lit will probably supply a strong base of ideas and writing styles to help you succeed.</p>
<p>Well, communications or nutrition would probably be the best backups. But Comp lit, Am studies, Anthro, and Soc would best complement your writing.</p>
