<p>I know that it all depends on how I write the essay, but I just want some general opinion on which topic is more likely to develop into a good essay. Please put yourselves in the shoes of Yale/Harvard/Ivy adcoms :)</p>
<p>Topic 1: playing violin with the local youth symphony at Carnegie Hall
Topic 2: Being the captain of school's Academic Team</p>
<p>Or you could be harsh/honest and say that you think that both of these topics are crappy/conceited/cliche.</p>
