Thanks for your time.:)

I think you have a good chance. Your ECs and honors/awards are awesome. (Your GPA and SAT are a little low, though.)

What's your rank? We need to know how you compare with the rest of your classmates. Decent math awards, but TASP Finalist isn't an award. You actually have to attend TASP for it to count. I don't want to say anything about your GPA just because I don't know how a 3.7 stacks up with the rest of the class. Your SAT is in range, as is your ACT, and your subject test scores are mediocre at best. For an Asian Indian, you're going to have a lot of trouble getting in.

They will probably only evaluate my ACT score for admissions so I don't think the SAT I is really a concern. As far as the subject tests, they are "optional" so I doubt they carry very much weight other than showing them that I am knowldegeable in several subject areas, which I think I do with scores of 700+ and a score of 780 in Math II(which seems to be what the SAT II that Stanford cares about the most).

As far as GPA goes, that's definitely my weak point. I have taken the hardest courseload in my school's history as indicated above but my school doesn't weight, so unfortunately percentiles based purely on unweighted GPA that my school uses basically screws me over. However, my counselor LOVES me and her recommendation will be extremely strong since she knows me really well and knows what a hard-worker and ambitious individual I am.

My midyear report shows all A's so that should help(especially an A in Calculus III since 3 of my 5 semester B's came in previous Calculus classes and the other 2 B's came in AP Chemistry and AP Physics respectively).

TASP Finalist is still an honor though it's definitely an honor though it definitely doesn't count as much as actually attending the program. For instance, Coca Cola Scholarship Semifinalist is still an award even if one doesn't end up getting the scholarship. Same with Siemens, Intel, etc. etc.

Anyway, thanks for your constructive criticism. I greatly appreciate it!!:)

what's your class rank?

Well based on unweighted GPA, top 20% I think. My school doesn't provide exact class ranks.

Why do you list "TASP Finalist"? If you did not participate in TASP, I would not list this.

It's pretty good to be a finalist, isn't it?

No. I think that in this case it means that he was not selected for TASP (i.e. s/he did not make it past the interview).

Yes, but I think only something like ~15% of applicants even get as far as the interview, so that's still pretty impressive (I didn't).

I can't really change what my application says so can we please get past this detail lol. Stanford will know what I mean anyway when I say "TASP Finalist" so don't worry about it.

What are my chances?

EAD, you did not play four years of jv tennis hahaha. you got kicked our for cheating during tryouts, or dont you remember?
