Whiny Additional Information on Common App

Hey guys,

I just realized I had forgotten to delete the information I provided in the additional information section. I wrote something along the lines of: "Please take into consideration that I had no help whatsoever and was really challenged by the American application process. It's not meant as an excuse but something to take notice of." I don't know exactly but you get why I am so upset I did not check it before submitting.

Should I send emails saying I'd like to have this information disregarded as it just seems whiny? Or should I just let it go?

Thanks!

Let it go. It does not help you at this point to call attention to those statements.

Thanks. I will try to let it go then.

Just to make yourself feel better, here is an old thread that is fun. So that you don’t have to read it all, yes it was apparently a true story and verified and the student was admitted.

haha thank you! I have come across this thread before. It’s still incredibly funny!

It shouldn’t matter. At worst they admissions committee will simply ignore it.

@Mandalorian Thank you. That’s great to hear.

And I am well aware that if I am rejected it’s probably not because of this.
