Whistling.

So, when, where, why, what do you whistle? The reason I am asking this is because while I whistling during one of my classes, someone said that my whistling made her feel lonely, and now that I think of it, when I hear a lone whistler in an open area, I feel alone as well.

I tend to whistle no matter the mood I am in, but my tune is indicative of my feelings at the time, which makes whistling one of the only ways one can tell what I am feeling or thinking at the time. I have also gotten in trouble for whistling during classes while not realizing.

Yes, this is a weird thread, but let's discuss.

I can’t whistle :[

^ Me neither. It makes me kinda sad.

i used to be able to whistle but then i got braces and couldn’t whistle anymore

and now my whistles are weak

my dad is a pro though

I’ve never been able to…

My 3rd grade music teacher gave me a B in the class because I couldn’t haha

haha, i can’t either! [well, i mean i can hold a single note, but i have no idea how to make it…musical, haha.]

I whistle rather weakly. Instead, I habitually tap the back of my fist into my other palm in a quick, nervous rhythm.

Epic thread; I’m pro at whistling and consider myself proficient at the very least, playing a whole song and stuff like that.

I don’t know when I whistle, probably randomly at times; sometimes I’m not even conscious of it.

Again, it’s all random…but what I whistle tends to correspond to one of my recently heard tunes.

When I’m singing a song by 3 oh 3. “Nice legs. Daisy Dukes. Makes a man go whistle”

I whistle when I’m happy

or ready to party

or if a song has a whistling part.

Ahaha, I love whistling… I often whistle classical music, lololol. Can’t help it.

I wish I knew how to whistle…

I find whistling annoying when it’s not done fluently, but if someone’s whistling a bright, cheerful tune and doesn’t spit everywhere, its quite enjoyable ;)

I love whistling, and doing those hand-clasp birdcall things. I usually don’t do any specific tunes do, I just ad lib.

I can whistle, but not loud enough for it to matter.

i whistle while I work(snow white ref. used to be my fav.)
i can whistle even though it took me forever to learn. i whistle sometimes, but i’m more of a singer. :)
