White House Internship Program Fall 2019

@amoveablefeast from my understanding it is most likely the department that interviewed you, but not always.

I would start looking for housing in you haven’t already. Also, has anyone finished the paperwork yet?

I’m so tempted to email the office and ask about my application, only because I play a D1 sport and have to get clearance and compliance to even do the internship and all that before I go back to school in like 2 or 3 weeks?

I haven’t. There are parts that I am confused by. How do we account for unemployment if we were in college?

You put down unemployed for the time you were in school and then comment under “student”

Congrats on everyone who applied. It shows that you all have drive and determination.

To those accepted. Congrats. It’s a big deal!

To those who didn’t remember, it’s not a never. It’s just a not right now.

Also a funny tweet from Monica Lewinsky to make you laugh.

Question to her.
“What is the biggest lie you’ve been ever told?”

Answer. “A White House internship would be good for my resume”.

Lol

@GTBravos @CrunchoMunch I was going to choose “unemployment” during the time in school, but then I saw there was an option called “other” with explanation below, so I chose that, will that work? @privatebanker Thank you for the congrats, it IS truly an honor, I am full of gratitude just by receiving that email.

Is anyone finished with the form? It is confusing. Do I have to put unemployment four consecutive times for each year that I was in school or does one time suffice?

@CrunchoMunch I wish I knew how to fill that part out too, I chose consecutive; I think we can just explain in the explain box that we are in school during that period of time.

I have no idea what to think now. Honestly, I lost hope of being accepted because I have gotten nothing but silence from the White House. But I never got a notification of any kind on July 15. Now it is the 27th and I am just waiting for a rejection email.

What do the White House interviewers ask you

Has anyone ever turned in their forms? I’m turning in mine tonight. There’s a lot to go through.

I’m all in and done

@“Seraphina Valentine” its different by department

@Politicalstudent27 @CrunchoMunch and those of you who have submitted the forms, just to confirm: everything is digitally signed and submitted, correct? Unless anyone has additional forms to upload/fax/mail, the required forms including the 4 signature forms are all directly attached and uploaded, right? Thank you!

@“Seraphina Valentine” I can share some of my interview questions later.

I digitally signed the four forms and uploaded the FBI form and the photo ID. I believe that was it right. Unless you’re a dual citizen.

I still haven’t heard anything at all either

@Cruchomunch Thank you and yes that’s right!

How long you think it will take we only have 36 days until the start date. So I think they will take probably a month!

Has anyone been contacted by an investigator yet? Any updates?
