@south256 - when they called, was it from an unknown number? I missed one of those last week…
What do you think it means that notifications will begin the week of March 30? That day is a Friday. Does that mean notifications could begin as early as Monday, March 26?
@firefly333 I actually called the internship office a couple weeks ago and asked about this. They said that means the week of, so as early as Monday.
I applied early Jan. and still no word other than “under review” on the portal. Anyone else hear anything??
I’m in the same boat. All it says is “under review” when I look in the portal. I haven’t been contacted by anyone in The White House either. I’m hoping for good news next week but am ready for anything.

For anyone who has heard back and received an interview, did you hear back again? Did you get the sense that that was your only interview or not?
Still says my application is under review and I haven’t heard anything about scheduling a interview. Starting to think I probably won’t get it.
@oppo21 not all departments interview, so there is still time! Good luck to everyone for the next week. We are on the home stretch of the waiting

@jaw2865 someone mentioned earlier they were interviewed by office of political affairs. I bet offices of domestic policy and national economic council interview as well but cannot confirm it

I haven’t heard anything yet! I am remaining hopeful, but am also nervous because I didn’t receive a phone interview at all
Not to be the bearer of bad news, but I spoke with the internship office last week, and they told me that even though their goal is to get out all notifications this week, it’s possible that that could be pushed out a little further because of some office closures and staffing issues…fingers crossed we will hear this week though!
Will the send us a letter or an email? I can’t stop refreshing my email every ten minutes!
I’m curious to see how many people get the internship without an interview… can’t say I’m overwhelmingly optimistic about my odds at this point
@Willbrandt668 did they say if there is any particular order? rejections first then acceptances, something like that?
From from looking at past cycles, it seems like they send out acceptances on Monday afternoon/night and rejections around Thursday but it could always be different this time.
Has anyone heard back yet?
