<p>Hi everyone,</p>
<p>This thread has been immensely helpful on information about the WH internship program. Does everyone know for sure when the last date of notification might be? I talked to my reference, who also served as a WH intern like 50 years ago and I got the feeling she didn’t get any call from the WH. Did everyone who got the internship have their references receive a call or is that random based on each office? My top choices are Legislative Affairs, VP, and Political Affairs. </p>
<p>I got a job offer from my State Legislature and I need to let them know by today. Just sent them an email asking for an extension. I’m caught in a dilemma and I don’t know what to do. I figure knowing the date of notification will help me make a decision. I also sent an email to the internship program asking the same question I’m asking here. I provided them the context also. Any clarification will be greatly appreciated. Good luck everyone and hope to see some of you!</p>

call the office, I am sure that will be quicker than emailing them. (the number is listed a few pages back)</p>
<p>I’m not sure if that won’t hurt my application. They didn’t list that number in their contact page so I’m not sure if it’s alright for me to call. I did send them an email so if I don’t hear anything by 4 EST tomorrow then I might call.</p>

<p>i think you should just call. i haven’t received a response from an email i sent a week ago. again, they said they would be sending out notifications “on a rolling basis.”</p>

<p>That whole “on a rolling basis” thing is so ambiguous. I sent an email last week as well and never got a response so I would agree that the most efficient way to potentially get answers would be to call</p>

I was interviewed the week of the 8th by a few different departments, and they all said we would hear back within three to four weeks from that date.</p>
<p>However, I found this article this morning (it was published around midnight today, the 23rd), and I started feeling a little disheartened. Felt I should share:</p>

<p>FYI he is a current intern. The title of the article is misleading. </p>

<p>That doesn’t mean that they’ve sent out notification for the spring. Don’t be disheartened
