<p>You know… The guy who interviewed me said “hopefully you find out before Christmas.” I previously assumed he misspoke and meant to say Thanksgiving, but clearly he meant Christmas.</p>

<p>Nu uh. I only know of people having been contacted for interviews. The person people were tweeting about that I assumed was contacted is actually a Fall 2010 intern.</p>

<p>Been searching Google and Twitter. Twitter has it’s own search engine now that let’s you search for keywords and every tweet with those words comes up. Only downside is it can only show public Twitter accounts.</p>
<p>Gosh! I never expected that they would take this long to decide. I wonder what’s causing the delay. Lets hope we hear back by tomorrow. I am hoping it does not stretch into the next week!</p>
<p>Glad I found this forum. I felt like I was crazy to be so nervous about phone calls and emails. Was about to give up hope. Now I see it’s just part of the process. </p>
<p>Anyways, I’m in the same boat. Got the vitals, had an interview call, and got that ‘still processing’ email. I hope we start hearing soon, either way. I have administrative stuff to file with my university by December 8th that kinda hinges on this decision, plus another internship opportunity to consider. Thankfully they know I’m waiting on this, but there’s only so much stalling and waiting one can do.</p>
<p>1735mm, I am in the SAME position as you. Did you let your other offer know you are waiting for the WH. </p>
<p>I am not sure if I should let me other offer know exactly which other internship I am waiting for. I have to let them know by friday, 5pm!</p>
<p>Yeah, they know. My contact was a WH intern many years back. But from what I’ve seen here for past acceptance rounds, this semester is taking a lot longer. Unless no one here got in, which could be likely.</p>

<p>I am in the same boat as most of you, I had an interview and am waiting to hear back! During my interview the woman said that the next step would be that we would get an e-mail from the internship office in the next 2-3 weeks which would let us know our status. That was 3-4 weeks ago so hopefully we know soon!</p>
<p>Re: 1735mm I dont think its likely they have sent out acceptance letters yet because I think they will also send out rejection letters for the people that got interviews at least and its highly likely that we would hear about it! </p>
<p>But ya, I hope they notify us soon, especially for those of us that need to get a plane ticket and find housing!</p>
<p>Does anyone know if they send out rejection emails to all those who applied but do not get selected? Or just to those who got the vitals email?</p>

<p>Anybody heard anything? Wonder how long they are going to take to decide? Its getting real difficult to plan ahead without hearing from the White House Internship team as to what their decision is or when are they going to finally decide on the final list?</p>
