<p>This is getting very frustrating! How longer can we wait?</p>
<p>i just need at least one person on this thread to be accepted for me to start feeling like this application process is the least bit reasonable. which at this point is pretty odd, there seems to be quite a lot of qualified people here given all the multiple interviews shared here.</p>
<p>I was thinking the same thing. It’s not real until one of us is accepted.</p>
<p>Okay, I give in. This is absolutely ridiculous! I was trying to be patient before, but it is almost a month passed the notification date they gave us on the White House website. Did Bo eat the White House computers? Gosh, if it wasn’t the Obamas’ dog, then I’m not sure what else could be taking <em>this</em> long. It’s absurd. Whoever said it before is right: they should be a little ashamed of themselves; this process is taking too long; and it’s rude. I’m still excited to hear, but exams are coming up and I have other things to think about.</p>
<p>So…maybe we should play trivia to pass the time?</p>

<p>If I don’t hear back by today, I will have to take up another internship. I am unable to hold off any longer. I already turned down one internship last week.I just cannot afford to lose another paid internship!</p>

<p>I hope they know by waiting this long they might miss out on some really good interns if we are forced to take other opportunities. This wait would not be acceptable from any other internship! </p>

<p>In my experience, no. They definitely send out the “no” emails as soon as they start notifying people. So if they HAVE started notifying people, and none of us have gotten emails…that means we all got in? Huzzah?</p>

I am new to the forum although I have been reading your posts for a couple of weeks now, in hope of finding some new information I wasn’t aware of.
I also applied for the White House spring 2011 internship, and no answer as of yet. Do any of you know if it is indeed a fact that they send out rejection emails?

<p>Only thing they’re saying is that notifications are being sent out on a rolling basis and they’re trying to get everyone notified over the next couple of weeks.</p>

<p>Sigh. Interns START in a couple of weeks. It doesn’t matter to me anymore, I’ve already taken my other offer. Good luck to everyone still waiting!</p>
