<p>For those of you that got the “Still in Progress” email, are you clicking on the link provided to be considered for Fall 2011, or do you think that is only provided as an option for people who no longer want to be considered for this summer?</p>
<p>Ohh good question, I applied for the Fall even though I still want to be considered for the summer…did I just make a huge mistake? I said I would also like to be considered for the Fall…</p>
<p>@dem, i really think you’re fine. i’m convinced that 95% of the decisions for summer 2011 have already been made but they haven’t made them official yet by notifying applicants. applying for fall shouldn’t decrease your chances for summer, especially since the fall deadline is so close to the summer notification date.</p>
<p>Yeah, I also got the vitals e-mail and the still-processing e-mail, but no phone call or notification as of yet… I guess the wait continues! :)</p>
<p>I too got the “still processing your application e-mail”. I’m honestly expecting rejection at this point but reflecting on it, I’m really okay with that outcome. I’ve got other things I can do this summer to build up my resume a little more (that hopefully will help me the next time I apply) and like others have said, we all have other chances to apply. I’m just glad for the learning experience in terms of understanding how this process works a little better than I did before I applied. That said, good luck to everyone! <p>the amount of refreshng Ive been doing on here and in gmail is ridiculous. Really hoping that people start hearing back today. On another note, it seems like almost everybody got “still in process” emails so… idk. It is still a tossup.</p>

<p>@giabella: Nope. I really don’t think that letter is indicative of much. With no phone interview and only one known case of someone getting the internship without one, I think I’m pretty much out of the running. But at this point, I probably won’t get my rejection letter until Monday.</p>
<p>@giabella: I’m sorry that you think I’m being so negative. I’m merely being realistic as far as my own chances are concerned. My own outlook for myself has nothing to do without anyone else’s. I’m sure you still have a great chance and I sincerely wish you all the best, no matter what happens. I’m perfectly okay with applying again in the fall–I don’t see anything really negative about that. And I’m glad you are maintaining the hope for yourself. You should. As for me, the way I cope is to see things clear-eyed and within the realm of realism, which for me, lest my own hopes get out of check. For me, this probably means that I will have to reapply and I’m okay with that. Still, good luck to you :)</p>

<p>Received both the vitals email and the phone interview, as well as the “application still in process” e-mail, but nothing more. Considering it is only 5 pm…I will post back in an hour if I receive any news.</p>
<p>I highly doubt we will hear back today though but I’ll keep you guys updated!

<p>Haven’t you guys watched The West Wing? They work late at the WH! No, I really doubt they are still working on this tonight. Just don’t be the intern who sold the moose meat on eBay… My daughter got the same email everyone else did (previously got vitals email, but no phone interview).</p>
