<p>vitals, interview, still processing email, still waiting. Although this has been said many times I feel that next week is “the week”. Given the volume of rejection emails sent out yesterday, it seems that the bulk of decisions are being sent out. </p>
<p>On another note, do you guys think it is a good thing or bad thing to have multiple phone interviews? I know some people didn’t have any, though some had more than one.</p>
<p>Just means more than one department is interested in you. So good thing. Final decisions are all up to the internship office</p>

<p>same here. vitals, interview, still processing, nothing. It seems like there are a lot of us in that same boat even though a bunch of rejections still went out. hopefully this will be the week we hear back so we can either rejoice or move on. best of luck!</p>
<p>K so nothing yet still… I don’t think rejections are going by alphabetical order since my first and last name start with a C. I think I would have gotten something by now. However, I guess no news is good news. Fingers crossed people :-)</p>
<p>Thanks to “catcruz”, I think we can now confirm that its not alphabetical. My last name is in the middle of the alphabet so it would be hard to tell with my name.</p>
<p>I think its based on when the department you were considered for has made their final decisions. I noticed that the rejections thus far have mostly been from people who had their phone interviews earlier in the process, than the people who have not received decisions at this point. I am thinking this is an indicator that some departments are still in different places in the process. I think this explains why some people have been accepted and some rejected already. Also, I know for sure I interviewed with the same department as at least one of the people who said they are still waiting, both of our interviews happened a few weeks after other people had reported having had their interviews. I think this also explains why someone reported having had a 2nd interview recently.</p>

<p>Another reason for the disparity in acceptance/rejection times could be how many offices your preferenced. I think we discussed earlier in the thread how each ap was passed onto the offices preferenced and it would make sense that someone who preferenced 7 or 8 would hear back later than someone who did 2. Obviously, this is just speculation though!</p>
<p>Also, I have not heard anything yet, and I have gotten vitals but no interview 
One of my friends has also been rejected who did not get an interview, and another accepted (who did get an interview. Hope this helps.</p>

<p>So I’ve been following this forum for a while and just decided to make an account. I received the vitals email and “still processing” email, but no interview. I think I ranked all 8 offices, but I’m not sure. I haven’t heard anything since the processing email. Gah… this wait is killing me. I guess I should probably assume the worst, considering I haven’t had an interview?</p>

<p>So I just called and they said that, “they have been notifying people since February on a rolling basis,” and that “they are getting ready to send out another big wave of notices in the near future.” I asked if that near future was this week and he said that, “he couldn’t really say”. The waiting continues.</p>

<p>question: i’ve seen a lot of people say that when they’ve gotten a call from the intern office it was off a blocked number, by chance does any one know if when calling and you don’t answer the person will leave a message? Or do they just try again?</p>
