I JUST GOT AN EMAIL FROM THE WHITE HOUSE FROM THE DOMESTIC POLICY COUNCIL ASKING ME TO SUBMIT TWO MORE WRITING SAMPLES BY 5PM TOMORROW!!! they said they are really pleased to be considering my application…

<p>I got the same email f/ the Domestic Policy Council asking for writing samples by today at 5. I also have two missed called from an “unavailable” number. Has anyone else gotten any calls? Do you think it’s terrible if I missed these calls? I assume if it is them, they’ll call back again (I hope!!)</p>
<p>YES! And I put the Domestic Policy Council as my first choice so I’m a bit nervous that I haven’t heard anything (to submit more writing samples or anything)…what do you guys think?! </p>

<p>I also got the “Vitals” email last week, but nothing since. (I discovered this forum after trying to google what it meant.) I also put the DPC as my first choice but didn’t get the email requesting writing samples. Good luck to everyone!</p>

<p>Just an FYI from a former WH intern: take note that the WHIP ( WH internship program) office is aware of this site and monitors what is said. Keep that in mind when you post identifying things about yourself before you actually are accepted. Best of luck to all. Decision time is right around the bend.</p>
