I've been spending a lot of time researching scholarships and have had some thoughts cross my mind. I see a lot of hispanic, african-america, asian scholarships. Why is it illegal to have a scholarship for white kids only?

not illegal, just politically incorrect.

there are scholarships associated with rotary clubs- elks club- bears/lions......people of norwegian/swedish/danish/ etc ancestry- scholarships through religious groups- not many asian lutherans I wager-
scholarships for people from little towns in Minn and Idaho.
Many awards that have nothing to do with race- if you look hard- or even look at all you will find more scholarships that you qualify to apply for than you would even have time to enter.

^Yeah. I am a minority, but even not including those scholarships I've found way more legit scholarships then I could ever have the time to actually fill out.
