<p>-The average incoming HS UW GPA is 3.8 @ Whitman college, and I would be approximately a 3.3-3.4 cumulative. </p>

<p>-Due to my apathy I was marked with a 2.8 GPA during my 9th and 10th grade. 11th and 12th grade if all is as expected will be 3.9-4.0.</p>

<p>-My SAT scores are a combined 2100.</p>

<p>-My schedule 11th/12th grade has been rigorous.</p>

<p>-7 AP exams (mostly 4/5)</p>

<p>I'm wondering if a terrible 9th/10th grade will obliterate my chances regardless of whether my 11th/12th grade year are very good for my prospective school.</p>

<p>The answer to your question turns on whether you are applying for aid. Full pay applicants have a much higher chance.</p>
