<p>An Asian guy from Montana? Seems like a Whitman "hook" to me :) In any case, being a guy should help. Your stats look well within the Whitman range, and your test scores are great, but admissions are always a crapshoot.</p>

<p>Indeed, from what I hear, Whitman values an applicant's writing skills more than any other admissions factor. Frankly, while a high GPA and test scores are important factors in admissions decisions, Whitman is ultimately more interested in your essays and personality.</p>
