so what do you think?

An Asian guy from Montana? Seems like a Whitman "hook" to me :) In any case, being a guy should help. Your stats look well within the Whitman range, and your test scores are great, but admissions are always a crapshoot.

Have you applied for the scholarship in debate? You sound like a great candidate for this:

President's and Salzman-Medica Speech and Debate Scholarships

Good luck!

wow, exactly what i was looking for.
thanks Bunsenburner, i am indeed interested in forensics in college
thanks again

any more comments people???

i'd say your definitely fit for an acceptance letter...
especially if your essays are as good as you say they are, because whitman is HUGE on writing. good luck :)

Indeed, from what I hear, Whitman values an applicant's writing skills more than any other admissions factor. Frankly, while a high GPA and test scores are important factors in admissions decisions, Whitman is ultimately more interested in your essays and personality.

I think you have a great shot.

thanks everyone!!

i was still wondering though....should i apply for ED? RD?

and what is ED2?
