Who are the kids in the bottom 25% ..

<p>Middlebury reports their middle 50% scores, SAT or ACT, and i am wondering who are the kids that are in the bottom 25%? </p>

<p>Are they amazing athletes, have a ton of ec's, no need for financial aid, international students, or just people with 4.0 who suck at test taking?</p>

<p>Well, bare in mind just because someone gets a bad mark (650) in one section, doesn't mean they got a 650 in every section. For example, I got a 700 CR, but a 780 Math; a huge disparity. So, I'll bet there are a bunch of kids who are in the lower ends of the English sections, but the higher ends of the math and vice versa. But yeah, some of those kids are legacies, URMs, athletes, etc.</p>

<p>don't be worried by what colonization says, a 650 on any section is not a "bad mark." Although I do not have a 650 on my reading section on the SAT I, I have a very high math and writing score. I am just not the best at taking standardized tests. However, I have a very good GPA. </p>

<p>P.S. My chance thread is not accurate anymore when in comes to numbers...</p>
