Really? I actually heard from a friend who goes there that there's very little shopping in the immediate area besides standard stuff like Urban Outfitters...but that NYC is really close and it's basically the prototype of shopping in general

Err, NYC isn't really close. Well I guess it depends on what you consider to be really close. I'm an hour's train ride from it and I don't consider it really close.

i just want to say that i love you guys, and that reading the yale boards is definitely a highlight of my day. and i love sushi too. that is all.

Well, my interviewer said something about a string of stores near the university... j.crew, b&n, banana republic, something like that. I'm not sure if she meant it as similar as malls in LA or NYC.. I'm sure at least one of us will get in to tell the story.

Ahhh! I had sushi 3 nights ago! I just got all 4 wisdom teeth pulled out this past Saturday, so i was rewarded with a dinner of whatever I wanted, (knowing i would be eating nothing but jello for the next 2 days!) But yes, food is amazing

pizza is amazing there, but not as good as ny =P. im happy with buying all my clothes in ny before travelling to wherever i go for college (im not going to blaspheme or ruin it)

Columbia releases decisions on Thursday...I'm jealous, but on the one hand, I'm thankful that we get ours on the 15th...I don't know about yall but our school gets out on the 15th...I think that's really good timing

I mean, it's enough to deal with my friends alone...who are planning a themed party...titled either "happy party" or "pity party" depending on the occasion...jeez lol
