I sure did, I couldn't think of a better way to make it clear that Princeton is my dream. My interviewer seemed to like it, because he added a ton of other bad comments about Yale in general, and Harvard in particular.

When he asked what I thought about Stanford, I went on a rage. He seemed to like this too, because he couldn't stop laughing when I poked fun at S's unsightly application.

I was diplomatic, but my interviewer probably lives to the line: Princeton rules, Harvard Sucks and Yale doesn't matter, from what I got out of him. He actually had some very nice things to say about Stanford, and didn't seem too upset that I said I liked it second best (after, of course, Princeton).

I didn't bash Harvard, but I told her I got deferred EA. But at the same time I also told her that the only reason I didn't apply early to Princeton but because of ED (which she agreed was bad), but, even so, now I wish I had taken the plunge. As well, I told her how I thought Princeton just clicked with me much better. Some of that seems disingenuous, perhaps, but I was very sincere, and since its the truth, I had no problem telling her, "You've heard this before, but Princeton really is my first choice."

I didn't do any ivy bashing but it seemed like my interviewer was doing some serious bashing on Princeton......telling me al the bad things about the school.....not that it wasn't appreciated but still..........weird huh?

My interviewer was on faculty at Penn, so I didn't want to do too much Penn-bashing... I just focused on Princeton's highlights and didn't really mention other schools I was interested in

Lol, in my HARVARD interview, my interviewer basically put me in a position where I HAD to bash Princeton and Yale. I haven't had my Princeton interview yet but it would be funny if I had to answer "Why Princeton and not Harvard?"

I didn't bash any other ivies but I gave very concrete reasons regarding why i wouldnt like to attend them and my interviewer seemed reasonably pleased...anyway interview doesnt count for much

I was asked, "Why Princeton and not Harvard?" I said that Harvard is a good school but I prefer Princeton for its undergraduate focus. I couldn't bash Harvard, I would love to go to their grad school.

in my Pton interview, my interviewer casually mentioned something about the recent investigations into anti-Semitism at Columbia. She seemed upset by it and I feel very strongly about it, so I may have said one or two things to that effect. But I didn't denigrate the university, I simply said I disapproved of the professors involved.

I didn't talk about other schools much in my interview except for when he asked me where else I was applying. Personally, I don't think it's classy at all to bash other schools .
