Who bashed other Ivys in their interview?

lol...unfortunately that's something alumni interviewers can forget. my penn interviewer was the only one who was nice about other schools.

i havent had any interviewer be nice about other schools, though my tufts interviewer did start praising duke

I didn't bash but I watched my interviewer joke around with his collegue who was rejected from Princeton but went to Yale...

ooh, what's unsightly about stanford's application?

It's the color of poop, for starters. I also hated the fact that it was due so EARLY. But the part that really got to me was the ridiculous presumption that I was supposed to fit my essay into the little tiny space provided. See, my essays for other colleges were what you would call "visual" essays. So I figured that if Stanford refused to let me be the creative person I am from the very beginning, then it obviously wasn't the right school for me.

My interviewer is in charge of admission for the Yale graduate school, so if I bashed Yale things would have gotten awkward. I was deferred from Yale. I told him I applied there instead of Princeton because it is so close I can go home and ride my horse. He actually liked that because his daughter is horse crazy like me!

Claire

MzLover3. I liked the Stanford Application a lot. You could have done it online. their online application (which was identical to Columbia's) was the easiest application i completed. Stanford's paper application was colored Cardinal and tan because of the school color, and the color of the buildings. I LOVE STANFORD (and princeton)

I like(d) Princeton's app more than Stanford's....i think i sent in something like 5 essays to Princeton...more essays = better chance IMO
