<p>Out of pure curiousity, who chose ucsd over ucla? which major and why?</p>

<p>pfft, we do BIO and COG SCI better than any UC out there. </p>

<p>We rank along side the IVY league. Give it a few years, UCSD will overtake UCLA in the general rankings.</p>

<p>Chose:UCSD Major: Economics Accepted to UCLA, Berkeley, ect.
Reasoning: I dislike the are around Berkeley, I wanted to get away from LA(home), the beach is a nice place, it is only undergraduate (if I wanted the best I would have gone with Berkeley). I plan to graduate in less than two years or graduate with a double major in two years.</p>

<p>What UC_Transfer said. I’m not going to UCSD or UCLA (or even UCB, for that matter), but my friend’s going to UCSD although she got into UCLA because she’s a bio major.</p>
