For sure.. Best of luck to you as well, and hey if you get over UC Davis after a couple years (I doubt you will), maybe look to transfer to Cal Poly.

Definitely, but I'm sure i will stick to one school. Have a great college experience. Freedom!

hey tenh, i may see you at davis next year.

That would be cool. What did you put down as your prospective major(even tho it's not binding like SLO).

civil engineering.......what about you?

Structural engineering. We probably would end up running into each other. That would be funny. I'm excited to have the possibility of living in nor cal. Where seasons really change. I'm typing here in my room, with the fan on bc it's still 80 degrees, @ 9pm, in the winter? College! After every glum day(today), will hopefully come a better one(when we get accepted somewhere). DAVIS!

I haven't heard from anyone who's been rejected yet. Only acceptances and still pending.

NorCal>SoCal

Haha, are you sure UC davis has structural? because I want to do structural but when i applied didn't have anything with it, only civil engineering.

well i got rejected
3.5 uw gpa (3.7/8 w)
32 ACT (around 2100 SAT)
Top 10%

oh well
haha

Yeah, cuz I remember talkin to a kid that's in structural. I'll make sure tho...

I think I did structural, I put civil for some UCs tho

don't get me wrong, I love socal(especially in the summer at the beach), but I have nothin against a change in scenery. I appreciate it tho Oop.

ineo42- what was your intended major?

mech engineering
...i had quite a few ECs, 6 AP classes, the rest pretty much honors, but no work experience

Wow ineo42 you sound exactly like me with the same major, stats and rejection. :(

JK j.irvin, I applied civil, but when I was looking into it, structural is a sub-part of civil that is offered. Sry, idk where my head's at. When you can't remember what you put down as you're major, I think it's time to call it a day...

Don't be too shocked ! Last year the number of students that applied was around 36,000 compared to the low number of actual acceptances. I believe if my memory is correct was around 7000.

This thread moves so fast!
I know no one's asked, but I'm BioE. :)

I was also rejected today.
History Major
3.4 GPA
1940 SAT
Only one AP
Varsity Golf, Varsity Soccer

I wasnt too surprised, I knew my stats were kinda low. I've been accepted to Cal Poly Pomona, SDSU and others. So I have options, but was really hoping for SLO

Oh wow, I didn't read this thread close enough. I'm surprised that so many great stats got rejected.
Here are mine:
GPA 4.1
SAT 2060
ACT 31
Many AP and honors classes
A lot of volunteer work and sports although CSUs don't ask too many details about that

i also got rejected today as well =[
