Who didn't get an email?

<p>I feel like crap. Almost everyone who applied to CAS received an email today hinting at an acceptance...but I didn't receive anything. Does this really indicate a rejection? :( man oh man...</p>

<p>My daughter applied to CAS for journalism and did not get an email or anything else for that matter.
She really doesn't expect to get in. She has the numbers but out of 900+ kids in her graduating class, approx 750 apply to NYU, THAT is a lot of competition.</p>

<p>I think he's talking about the email, which doesn't have any type of invitation to it. It seems like most people who got the email also received an invitation to Sunday at the square or university day, so whether the email means anything is regardless.</p>

Last year I didn't get an email like this although I was selected for the scholars program</p>

<p>Ouch I didn't get an e-mail or an invitation to anything...in fact I've heard nothing from NYU since I sent in my application. I thought I had a pretty good chance with a 2210 SAT and a 92.075UW GPA. Am I out??</p>

<p>i haven't heard anything either since they've notified me that they've received my stuff.</p>

<p>I got an e-mail at the end of January confirming my app, got a postcard about the summer program, nothing else. I think I've probably been rejected, but oh well life goes on.</p>
