If any of you know, what does it mean that we have to return it or pay it back, does it mean that the laptops are used or like loaned to us for four years and then we return them? thanks just wondering!</p>

<p>me neither, but it’s because i’ve been selected for fafsa “verification” (1/3 of people are selected). if you look at your “to do list” they should have additional forms for you. if not, then i would call the financial aid office</p>
<p>We did the verification forms 2 weeks ago and haven’t gotten an award yet. OOS.</p>
<p>I have nothing on my to do list. If I don’t hear in the next couple of days, I will contact the financial aid office.</p>
<p>None for me, but our official EFC was above the COA. It’s still “processing.” I may need to call them and appeal.</p>
<p>I called Financial Aid this morning and was told that my daughter’s forms are all in order and that they hope to have her award figured out in the next week or so. It would be nice if we could know before the April 9th “Explore Carolina,” but I guess that may not happen.</p>
<p>Call the admissions office. I did (my page said still processing, no To-Do’s and EFC > cost, OOS) and they said it was because I was getting a merit scholarship that was holding it up, and that everything should be up by Friday. Pleasant surprise, because I didn’t know that they were still giving those out. </p>
<p>I guess this could be the case for a few kids who have no To-Do’s and still no aid award. (Also didn’t submit the CSS, and they haven’t asked for it.)</p>
<p>199709 - thanks for the suggestion - my daughter was accepted EA, though, and was not invited to the Scholarship Day. Otherwise I’d start hoping her situation might be the same as yours!</p>
<p>I was not invited to Scholarship Day either. I applied RD on the 15th (maybe I wasn’t invited because I applied so late?), and got an Honors invite.</p>
<p>I can’t see any financial aid to-do list… does that mean I have nothing extra to send in? It says my application is pending… is that good or bad? I’m getting desperate!</p>

<p>fRace04 - I think my daughter didn’t see a financial aid “to do” until there was a verification form to submit. Once we had mailed it in, the item and the list disappeared. Most likely they have everything they need, but if you’re like me, you might feel better talking to someone who can double check for you, as I did this morning. At any rate, the fact that there are a number of people still waiting on financial aid awards is comforting – and who knows, maybe the longer it takes, the more grants they are figuring out!</p>
<p>I emailed the financial aid office asking about my package. They stated that they were working on it and would be posted soon.</p>

<p>I guess I was just worried since I applied EA and sent everything financial aid related by early february. Ah well, guess we’ll all have to gather up a bit more patience and wait some more!</p>
