Who do I contact at the UC's and CSU's that I applied to inform them I got a D? What are my chances?

I just finished first-semester senior year and kept the minimum grade requirement to keep acceptance except that I unfortunately got a D in physics honors and I don’t know who I am supposed to contact at each school to inform them. I’m also curious what my chances are of schools still letting me enroll with one D. I have two AP classes and two honors classes my senior year and have a heavy work load which I hope helps my case. I’m in ap English, pre-calc, ap comparative government, advanced art honors, biotechnology and I dropped out of physics honors and I’m now a peer tutor. I applied to: Davis, Irvine, Merced, Riverside, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz (UC’s) and I applied to CSU’s: Sonoma, Cal poly slo, cal poly Pomona, Fullerton, long beach, chico, sf, and san diego. I have so far been accepted into chico, sonoma, and sf.

It seems to be rather difficult to find that information for CSUs. You may have to contact the admissions offices of the various CSUs directly and ask. For those where you have been admitted already, check if there are any conditions you must meet to avoid the admission being rescinded.

it is probably OK for the CSUs - though you should call, then email so they aren’t surprised - and you have a record. just call the main admission number listed on the web site.
UCs aren’t as forgiving of Ds… but, what’s done is done. let them know asap and let the chips fall where they may.

I agree you should email and then follow with a call to each CSU admissions office. SDSU is very specific on their website, stating that your acceptance can be rescinded if you receive an D or F in any HS course Senior year (not just a-g courses). Better to be proactive and find out your options.

Keep Your Grades Up!
Admission is based on self-reported information from your CSUMentor application. Once you are provisionally admitted, we will verify this information against your official transcript. Please make sure to report accurate information.
Your admission may be rescinded for reasons such as the following:
your GPA, test scores or course grades are lower than what you reported on the application.
you miss any admission deadlines.
you earn D or F grades in any coursework (not just a–g courses) taken during your senior year.
you misreported or did not complete a required course.
