I have already been accepted to a few universities through early action, but for my regular decision schools, do I send them midterm reports? Will they ask for them or are they not required?

The vast majority of schools will ask for mid-term grades, from your Guidance Counselor, not you. Your school should send that info.

Actually the majority of colleges do not require them but large minority do and higher ranks usually do. Moreover, you should not assume your counselor or high school will automatically send them. You need to check each college to determine if one is required. In fact, you better check the colleges to which you have already been admitted EA because some of those require mid-year reports from those admitted EA. If you applied via common app, there is a way for your counselor to submit through common app. If not, you need to have high school/counselor send it to the college’s office that handles admissions. It is your responsibility to assure they are sent if required and making assumptions that counselor will automatically send it could result in your being denied admission if it is not sent. Make sure you request it be sent if required and confirm when it has been sent.
