The Financial Aid Office has not received your financial aid application (FAFSA) for the current academic year. We cannot determine your eligibility for financial aid without this information. To complete the FAFSA or check on the status of a submitted application go to: FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

If you completed a FAFSA and UCLA has no record of it, please note:

* Applications are forwarded to UCLA within 5-7 business days, if submitted via web and 3-4 weeks, if submitted via paper.
* The process has not been completed, if the application was “Saved” and not “Submitted” for processing. If you were not presented with a confirmation page, your FAFSA may not have been submitted.
* UCLA (school code 001315) MUST be listed on your FAFSA.
* If the Social Security Number on your FAFSA does not match the SSN in our records, we will not receive your FAFSA data.

yeah, mine says that too, that is the update everyone was talking about that they could see meaning they were admitted, they only update that they received your fafsa once the admission decision reaches the financial aid office. it has nothing to do with you making a mistake at this point because your decision hasn’t been made yet right according to the site?

^ so we need to fill out more forms because we have low efc?? my efc was 0 … maybe thats why. ah! freaking aye, this is annoying! i didnt have any problem with ucsd financial package …

^
Usually, don’t quote me though, said this in another thread too, because the EFC is low or 0, they require that you send copies of your/your parent’s Income Taxes. Maybe that’s it!

so if we send in the extra forms, then we will be okay?? gosh it would suck if ucla wont give me any financial aid when i freaking need it ak;djfjdf

^ how do you appeal? so this REALLY means that i wont be getting anything?

i was reading the thread that someone posted up in here and those people called in early april … would it be too late? gosh this is so frusterating! the one school i really wanted to get into and i got in, but financial aid is not there.

^
No, it doesn’t. I don’t know your situation, so…lol, can’t tell you much there. After you receive your FA, you can appeal. Sending an official letter to the Financial Aid Department.
