who else got weird admissions results?

I had three ivy likely letters (7 overall) and got waitlisted at Brown… Harvard and Princeton too, but those are more understandable. My only rejection was Yale :l

Friend from my school got into Brown with 400 points less on the sat. I guess scores aren’t really that much.

Waitlist is pretty much a rejection i dont see too much of a difference between the two.

I don’t think aahs is bragging. The post is about weird admissions results, and when you get accepted to Harvard & Yale & rejected at Princeton & Columbia, well, that’s weird. Maybe unpredictable is a better word.

Mine were really weird…keep in mind that I am an engineering major

Accepted: Northwestern, USC, UMich, UCSD, Santa Clara

Waitlisted: Notre Dame, Cal Poly SLO

Rejected: UCLA, UC Berkeley

Not really. Harvard and Yale are in the same league of selectivity as Princeton and Columbia. It’s a bit random but definitely not weird.

Not a single one of these sounded like “weird” admissions results. The only ‘weird’ thing was that every post sounded like bragging.

Well, I think my rejection from Purdue and UW-Madison is pretty weird, since I got into way more selective schools (UC Berkeley, RPI, etc), and WL’d from UChicago. I cried after Purdue, since it was also my first rejection. :P
