D is applying RD but will send in the app early so that they can memorize it by RD time. LOL. She's as eager as she can be about getting this one in and done. She has a fun relationship with her potential coach and got along with her potential teammates, loved the campus and little town. Still nervous about the weather (and the whether old dad can pay for it). Who else is a definite apply, RD or ED?

Tell her not to worry about the weather; she will get use to it. It snowed in Clinton (melted the next day) Tuesday and my southern belle was in heaven!! She is coming home this weekend (on the plane as we speak) and was worried she wouldn't be able to handle the warm weather :-0

My daughter has so many friends that were recruites for several sports but I don't believe any were for basketball; I met lacrosse, hockey, and swimmers. She in the dorm with many of the senior men's hockey players; that's a good combo-senior boys and freshman girls!

Oh, yeah. Great combo. That sounds like the exact dorm my daughter spent time in on her visit BTW.

Hi curmudgeon! Assuming D gets her act together and actually completes an application, she'll be applying to Hamilton. Still waiting to hear from the local alumni for an interview.

I'm applying, RD. Application is all ready to go.

If my D does not get into Whitman ED, she will apply to Hamilton RD

I just sent the common app in. curmudgeon, your daughter and I must have similar tastes in schools since I also noticed your posts in the centre forum. I'm very nervous about the weather and the price also, but it seems to have an awesome English program and it has the deal with Columbia law school.

I'm also applying RD but nothing for my app is done, not still !!!!!

I have a friend applying RD... if that counts? :-P

I'm applying RD too.
