Who else is anti-social

[Antisocial personality disorder is defined on page 2.](http://www.dsm5.org/Documents/Personality%20Disorders/DSM-IV%20and%20DSM-5%20Criteria%20for%20the%20Personality%20Disorders%205-1-12.pdf)

There are more descriptive terms for personalities and behaviors for which “antisocial” is a common misnomer:

Introversion: quickly feeling drained of mental stamina when socializing, and needing frequent peace and quiet

Shyness: reluctance to interact with people even when there is a reason to do so (e.g. glossophobia causing shyness to speak in front of people)

Nonconformism: doing what you want or what you think is right, regardless of the norm, but not necessarily in violation of individuals; immunity to groupthink

I don’t know the term for this: feeling a minimal desire for socialization or friendship, being content with independence and solitude when most people would feel lonely

All four of which apply to me. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
