I know my test scores are pretty low, but I feel my essays were strong - about my cousin who has autism and how my experiences with him have instilled an awareness in me about valuing life and the responsibility that i feel human beings have to be compassionate... anyway, i'm very anxiously awaiting responses and decision letters, so if you would be so, so kind to tell me what you think my chances are and alleviate a little stress i would be greatly appreciative. Thank you so much!

I know I have worse essays than you, but my math SAT is a 770. Who knows which they way more. Good luck! I can’t wait!

I’M ANXIOUS!

3.7/4.4 U/WGPA.
32 ACT (34 Eng, 33 Math, 31 Read, 30 Sci)
Does not rank, approx top 8%

haha thank you, you too! i’m hoping they don’t just rank them in order of test scores or essays or anything, for that matter… i’ll keep my fingers crossed for both of us!

I so anxious too. I also have a 32 ACT and was deferred. I not going to sleep tonight.

I am gonna go into a state of depression if i don’t get in. I got waitlisted by UVa today…that was a very unpleasant surprise. It was worse than a slap in the face. I’m lost right now. Logic would lead me to believe that ND is gonna be at best a waitlist. I’ve been praying nonstop today. I just need a miracle. I’m already into some good schools (Michigan, Wake Forest, Richmond, others) but I just wasn’t even considering/prepared to go to them cause I though UVa was a lock and I’d get into ND with some luck. I’m gonna watch Rudy tonight and hopefully his luck will rub off.

**quote me on this: If I get into ND, I will run through my neighborhood screaming the ND fight song. :)

good luck to you others too

Everyone needs to relax - you all have great opportunities out there and you will have a great option - college is what you make of it

Just found out I’m waitlisted!

I was deferred EA too, am feeling a waitlist or a rejection.

i’m sensing a waitlist… how many people actually do get off the waitlist? i mean depends every year but can someone give me a range?

i think like 220 out of 700 for last year

See the 2009 admission stats thread, post 77. It appeared that 271 were accepted off last year’s wait list. Keep up the good work in helping folks, Hawkswim09!
