Who else voted?

I'm 18, and I just came back from the polling place. Didn't have any problems - practically no one was there lol.

My polling place was empty too.

Did you vote D, R, or I?

granted,
some people do not feel comfortable disclosing how they vote, so normally that it not a question you would pose to someone.

I voted last month by absentee ballot. It was so simple. I love being involved in the political process.

Voted the ticket, all republican

I don't see why it should be such a big secret who people voted for, especially on a public forum.

KLF, I'm well aware of this, but give me a break...it's an online forum. And either way, I think you should be comfortable disclosing which party you voted for. You should be proud of WHO you voted for. So, I'll pose the question again. Did you vote R, D, I? R all the way.

I voted absentee, all democrat (senate/house/gov/judges).

Did anyone else have old people congratulating you for being a first time voter? I found that creepy.

...no, and i don't find that very creepy.

To all you people who said you voted "all democratic" or "all republican" I certainly hope you people read and fully understood all the issues, from both sides of the aisle. Too often do people just automatically vote for someone because of the party beneath the name...that's not how our political system is meant to be carried out.

I didn't vote. I did my duty.

I voted, um...

Gov-Repub
Sen-Repub
House-1Repub/1Dem
Judges-Dem

I didnt vote but Im still ganna complain.

I voted straight party ticket, republican.

And yes, I looked at both sides of the issues and did my research.

What I found creepy was that I didn't have to show any identification whatsoever.

Also I don't think asking if your ticket was straight or split is that intrusive, calm down...

the old ladies were so happy i was voting

i voted all republican!!!!

Yeah, I didn't have to show identification either.

I voted straight Democrat.

I voted today...no problems, only had to wait about 5 minutes. The only identifying information I had to give was my birthdate when the official asked.

Governor - Democrat
Senator - Republican
House...randomly

I voted three weeks ago.

I'm mad. I am at my first year in college. Yesterday (Nov 7, election day) I became 19, so I am able to vote. However, i'm 5 hours from my home, and I can't vote absentee because you have to vote in person before you can vote absentee. And it was my birthday too. Whatever, the one issue I actually cared about passed.

Wherever there was a chance Dems. would lose, I voted Dem. If it was an obvious DEM. victory I would vote Green.
