Who gets into Ross Pre-Admit?

What kinds of people do they accept? Also, what should one write his/her essay about?

Hi shrubber!

According to Ross Business School’s website, the academic stats of accepted applicants generally have an average GPA of 3.8, an ACT average of 32, and an SAT average of 1420 (according to a page that no longer exists on UMich Ross’s site unfortunately). Successful applicants also have usually taken AP Calculus, Statistics, and Economics. They accept about 200 people out of an applicant pool of 1,000 (admission rate = 19%), so the admission selectivity is similar to that of Cornell.

There is never a rule to college essays. Just write about something that means alot to you and be concise. Don’t write something that you think that the admission committee will like, because that will never turn out right.

Good luck!
